If you take a career break (including maternity leave) of 12 months or more then you can retain your IMI membership at a reduced rate of £63 per year however you must notify the IMI Membership Secretary of this in advance of your leave. It cannot be claimed retrospectively.You are strongly advised to retain your registration with the Academy of Healthcare Science (AHCS) if taking a career break.

There are two vacancies for election to IMI’s Council (2016-2019) and you can now vote on-line. The deadline for doing this is Friday September 9th 2016. There is one vacancy for election as Chairman Elect and this is unopposed. You will see photographs and biographies of all of the candidates and can vote for a maximum of two people. The results of this election will be announced at IMI’s AGM on September 17th 2016.
